Gutter Topper® from Cain’s Roof Top Solutions: How It Works
How It Works

Science is the key to understanding how Gutter Topper® allows the rain water to flow into the gutter while keeping the leaves and debris out.
Water clings to a surface on which it travels. Surface tension causes the water to cling to Gutter Topper®’s rounded nose. The water follows the curve of the nose and is deposited in the gutter.
Leaves and debris won't follow the curve. They'll remain on Gutter Topper®'s flat surface and most leaves are blown to the ground once they dry out.
It’s a principle of physics. With Gutter Topper® rain water flows down your roof and over the gutter protection. The water then travels around Gutter Topper's® rounded front and right into your gutter.
Try this experiment: take a glass of water and hold it over the sink. Slowly tilt the glass until the water starts running over the side. Notice the water runs down the side of the glass before it drops off in to the sink.
